Follow up to In Vitro Meat
In a follow up to our earlier post, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is now stepping in and offering a $1 million reward to the first scientist to produce and bring to market in vitro meat. Full story accessible here.

I find that incredibly creepy - talk about taking nutritionism to the next, icky level. Michael Pollan must be having fits!
Yet, I don't think it is as creepy as slaughterhouse. I mean, when you think about it, we eat things that have gone through a lot more processing. You know the expression -- two things you don't ever want to watch being made: sausage and legislation. :>)
Well, I do admit to trying my best to avoid overly processed foods - I'm just not convinced it's the best way to eat!
